Emergency After-hours service

If you are experiencing an animal emergency:

Normal daytime hours, call the practice:

(03) 5461 4466

After hours (when the Practice is normally closed):

(03) 5461 4466 and press 1

If you experience an animal emergency during normal Practice hours (Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm & Saturday 9am – 12pm) then please call the normal Practice phone number:  (03) 5461-4466.

For emergencies outside these hours we have a vet on call 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. For emergency assistance please call: (03) 5461-4466 and press 1 and the nurse on duty will assist you or put you through to the vet.

Please note that there are additional costs for after-hours emergency vet treatment, and unless the animal owner is a pre-authorised account holder in good standing, then full payment for the treatment will be required at the time of the visit.

For small animals (dogs, cats and smaller), the vet will require you to bring the animal into the practice where they will have more equipment, medication and other resources available such as in-house blood testing.

For large animals the vet will attend your property to provide assistance, and will bring the large animal equipment and medications with them.

We will be adding more information about some of the more frequent emergencies that we treat our patients for, so please do check in on this page from time to time as we will add some helpful information about what you can do until you arrive at the practice or the vet arrives at the farm.
